I’ve been experiencing facial and upper chest flushing for more than 30 years. It was unpredictable. In my 40s the sudden flushing bouts stopped and were replaced with constant red cheeks that sometimes were accompanied by sudden acne breakouts on my cheeks and nose. A dermatologist diagnosed me with Rosacea and prescribed a cream for the redness and antibiotics for the acne. I was relieved to have a diagnosis but saddened that there is no cure. Years went by with little to no symptoms so I stopped using the medications. Recently, the flushing returned. I decided to try the Musely product. I apply to my nose and cheeks once daily. The redness has been reduced. I still get small breakouts on my cheeks so have also begun taking an oral antibiotic. At 59, l have accepted that I will never have a porcelain complexion. However I can feel confident that the sudden uncomfortable flushing is now controlled thanks to this product.
